Synopsis of Services Provided

  • Appear and defend Employers at the CCMA and/or Bargaining Councils. This is in respect of Conciliations as well as Arbitrations. There is a guarantee scheme in place should an Award be made against the Employer following an Arbitration. (Cover ranges from R75000-00 to R250 000-00).
  • Lodge Notices of Objection in respect of Con/Arb process in order to save time for the employer, amongst others.
  • Employers contact us via e-mail where-after we compile the correct Warnings in terms of the Disciplinary Code of the Employer. By following this route we ensure that the wording of warnings are absolutely correct as it could cause problems further down the processes should this not be correct. In the absence of a Disciplinary Code, we compile and implement same for the Employer.
  • Administer the total process of serving "Notices to Return to Work" by Registered Mail as well as "Dismissals" following on this where an Employee is absent from work after a certain number of days as the responsibility to establish the reasons and where-about of an Employee who has been absent for a certain period of time is now the responsibility of the Employer. (The "old" rule with regards to an employee "Absconding" has changed drastically).
  • Chairing Grievance Meetings and ensure that the correct Minutes/Records are kept.
  • Compile and implement various types of Contracts of Employment and assist in the administration thereof. (Four different Contracts depending on the Employer's needs)
  • Compile all Policies and Procedural documents (Approximately 28 Policies) with regards to Human Resource Administration and to ensure that the Employer adhere to all the legal requirements in terms of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act and the Labour Relations Act.
  • Compile all relevant Memorandums from Management to staff on a broad spectrum of matters on behalf of Management.
  • Deal with all inquiries from Inspectors from the Department of Labour or Agents from Bargaining Councils.
  • Assist in wage negotiations. (Non-Union companies and Unionized).
  • Compile "Performance Evaluation Documents" and assist with processes in this regard.
  • Assist with the compilation and submission of Employment Equity Reports to the Department of Labour. (Excluded from monthly retainer system but at a reduced rate)
  • Development, implementation and administration of Safety Files in terms of the Occupational Health and Safety Act. (Excluded from monthly retainer system but at a reduces rate).
  • If required, the outsourcing of staff, thereby removing all your staff problems as they are then our staff on our books.
  • Staff recruitment at 30% to 41% below industry average, including management and counseling support for 90 days in order to assist you in the probationary period and to reduce your risks.
  • In short, we become your Labour Law and Human Resources "partner".
  • By following this route you are able to truly focus on your core business/function whilst we deal with these issues in a professional manner on your behalf.
  • We work through a recognized Employers Organization, duly registered at the Department of Labour in terms of the Labour Relations Act in order to give us proper appearance rights at the CCMA and Bargaining Councils. As such we also register your business/Organization with the Employers Organization.
